Bunkering & Marine Supplies

Emmaco Legacy Limited provides a full range of bunker fuels, blended to meet ISO 8217:2005, as well as individual client specifications. We have our own dedicated bunker vessels which ensures a constant supply of high-quality fuels. Our inline blenders allow us to provide exactly the products required without any extra hassle. We provide low Sulphur levels down to 0,1% for MGO and 0,5% for Fuel Oil.

MARINE FUEL BUNKERS

Emmaco Legacy bunkering service focuses on trade, for vessels within the West Africa region with emphasis on Ghana and vessels trading in international waters. Our extensive network covers all ports in Ghana and environ and major ports around west Africa.

All vessels bunkering in Ghana and environ can be assured of the quality and quantity of bunker, as well as safe and efficient delivery.

Emmaco Legacy  ensures these benchmarks through several standards and codes of practice as adopted by the International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO) in establishing international best practices.

Working with all the major producers of lubricants and state-owned oil companies worldwide enables us to secure products for our clients at very competitive terms. No matter if you are purchasing large quantities in bulk or requiring supply in drums we are able to offer you the highest service.

The flexibility of our owned fleet allows delivery to several vessels on the same day, as well as cruise ships and chemical tankers with limited windows of opportunity to receive fuel. Service is available to customers seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

CREWING AND MANPOWER RECRUITING

Our recruiting process ensures that all our candidates are certified in compliance with international marine operations qualification requirements. The Personnel selection procedure includes personal interviews, checking of professional abilities, previous sea service & references verification communication skill test, certificates’ validity. Stimulations and Drills.

Emmaco Legacy provides both officers and ratings of the highest caliber for different types of vessels. All of our seafarers, officers, and ratings are carefully selected to meet the specific requirements of our clients.

Our policy is to provide vessel operators with high quality, cost efficient and personalized crew management services which will support and encourage safe and efficient ship operation.

All our candidates are certified in compliance with STCW-95 qualification requirements. Personnel selection procedure includes an interview, checking of professional abilities, previous sea service & references, level of English, certificates’ validity.

Our crewing processing includes arrangement of crews’ joining and repatriation as well as all related functions, as required, including union relations, medical examinations, etc. We also recruit labor of all sort.

VESSEL CHARTERING

Emmaco Legacy offers global charter at competitive pricing providing flexible schedules for all your part-charter and full-charter requirements. Vessels of all sizes are available with different lifting capabilities ranging from bulkers, container carriers to gearless ships.

Emmaco Legacy handles charter tonnage for routes not usually covered by liner-service companies, and also for items that would normally not be transported as containerized or conventional cargo on a liner vessel. Such items include:

SHIP REPAIRS AND DRY DOCK SERVICES

Emmaco Legacy offers specialist engineering services for wide variety of vessels.

The range of marine in situ repairs that we regularly undertake while vessels are in dry dock includes the following:

  • Engine main bearing transplants.
  • Main bearing and crankpin surveys.
  • Crankpin journal diameter machining in situ.
  • In place main bearing machining.
  • Repair of cracked diesel engine blocks, cylinders, bedplates, and entablatures.
  • Refurbishment of cylinder liner landing areas.
  • In place Inline boring on all engines.
  • Engine alignment.
  • Stern Tube and A-frame alignment/boring.
  • Reboring coupling holes.
  • Machine crane pedestal seats.
  • Re-bore thruster and stabilizer location bores.
  • Rudder housing, blade and horn alignment, and reboring.
  • Re metal and re-machine worn propeller hubs.

Many of our repairs are also carried out while alongside or at anchorage. And if an in situ repair really isn’t possible, we can take components to our fully equipped workshops.
